线性B音节字母表

描述

Linear B is a syllabic script that was used for writing Mycenaean Greek, the earliest attested form of  Greek 0391–03C9 in ancient Greece in XV—XII centuries B.C. The alphabet represented 80 syllabic signs and around 200 ideograms.

Linear B was created in XV century B.C., after the Achaeans gained Crete, descending from The older Linear A. Once Mycenaean Greece was destroyed with the Dorian invasion, the script disappeared. It has no connection with  Greek alphabet 0391–03C9 invented later.
