Taxi Emoji 🚕

A cab that reminds of old movies taking place in New York, like Home Alone, for instance, as such cars pop up there pretty often. However, the yellow colour is universal for taxis, and it applies in many countries. The emoji depicts a yellow taxicab moving in the left direction. It may signify any kind of traffic or public transport.

Das Symbol „Taxi“ ist im „Fahrzeuge“ subblock des „Transport and Map Symbols“ blocks enthalten und wurde als Teil der Unicode-Version 6.0 im Jahr 2010 genehmigt. Im Jahr 2015 wurde es auch als Emoji in der Version 1.0 genehmigt und zur „Bodentransport“ Unterkategorie der „Reisen & Orte“ Kategorie hinzugefügt.
