La description
Pahawh Hmong was invented in 1959 by Shong Lue Yang, a farmer and a Hmong spiritual leader, to write two Hmong languages: Hmong Daw (Hmoob Dawb White Miao) and Hmong Njua AKA Hmong Leng (Moob Leeg Green Miao). The Miao people inhabit in southern China, northern Vietnam, Laos and Burma. According to Shong Lue Yang, God had revealed to him the alphabet in 1951. This script hasn't been widely applied. The latin-based writing system is more popular that was developed in 1951 in China.
