This icon depicts a vertically standing bar. THe dingbat is done with a thin black line and it's devoid of any complementary elements. This typographical sign is often applied in writing to divide blocks of information in various texts.

When necessary, symbol U+2758 is used in type ornaments, frames, or when it's necessary to break up paragraphs into parts.
