Beschreibung
Kaithi alphabet (कैथी) is a tachygraphic of Devanagari 0915–0945 . It become widespread in The Mughal Empire шт XVI century. In the 1880s the script was recognised as the official script of the law courts of Bihar. The name of the alphabet comes from „Kayastha“ that means caste of penmen.
