Emoji Meaning
A symbol to display the suit of playing cards diamonds. It is used, for example, in manuals of training card games.
The symbol “Diamond Suit” is included in the “Playing card symbols” subblock of the “Miscellaneous Symbols” block and was approved as part of Unicode version 1.1 in 1993. In 2015, it was also approved as an Emoji in version 1.0 and added to the “Game” subcategory of the “Activities” category.
