Clapper Board Emoji 🎬
Emoji Meaning
A cinematographic clapper board that contains the title and number of the scene, the movie title, the shot number. A person “claps” the board at the top, saying “Action!” or “Cut!” in order to mark the beginning and the end of filming.
The symbol “Clapper Board” is included in the “Entertainment symbols” subblock of the “Miscellaneous Symbols and Pictographs” block and was approved as part of Unicode version 6.0 in 2010. In 2015, it was also approved as an Emoji in version 1.0 and added to the “Light & Video” subcategory of the “Objects” category.
