Goat, a strong hoofed animal that is raised for meat and milk. It is depicted as a light brown, white, or multi-coloured goat in profile with a shaggy beard and yellow horns curving back. Goat is one of the twelve Chinese Zodiac animals.

The symbol “Goat” is included in the “Animal symbols” subblock of the “Miscellaneous Symbols and Pictographs” block and was approved as part of Unicode version 6.0 in 2010. In 2015, it was also approved as an Emoji in version 1.0 and added to the “Mammal” subcategory of the “Animals & Nature” category.
