The symbol “Person Gesturing No” is included in the “Gesture symbols” subblock of the “Emoticons” block and was approved as part of Unicode version 6.0 in 2010. In 2015, it was also approved as an Emoji in version 1.0 and added to the “Person Gesture” subcategory of the “People & Body” category.
