The symbol “Automobile” is included in the “Vehicles” subblock of the “Transport and Map Symbols” block and was approved as part of Unicode version 6.0 in 2010. In 2015, it was also approved as an Emoji in version 1.0 and added to the “Ground Transport” subcategory of the “Travel & Places” category.
