Emoji Meaning
Yo-yo is a toy consisting of two similar disks, connected with each other with the axle, which holds the string. It works according to the Maxwell pendulum principle, or rather like a gyroscope.
The symbol “Yo-Yo” is included in the “Toys and sport symbols” subblock of the “Symbols and Pictographs Extended-A” block and was approved as part of Unicode version 12.0 in 2019. In 2019, it was also approved as an Emoji in version 12.0 and added to the “Game” subcategory of the “Activities” category.
