A symbol of currency exchange. It's most often depicted as a Dollar sign with arrows towards Yan and back from it. Some platforms show paper money and coins instead.
The symbol “Currency Exchange” is included in the “Money symbols” subblock of the “Miscellaneous Symbols and Pictographs” block and was approved as part of Unicode version 6.0 in 2010. In 2015, it was also approved as an Emoji in version 1.0 and added to the “Currency” subcategory of the “Symbols” category.
