Emoji Meaning
A keyboard is a device with buttons, that you need to press in order to type a text. This emoji is displayed in different shades of grey, black, and white. People use it to talk about computer technology and digital writing.
The symbol “Keyboard” is included in the “Keyboard symbols” subblock of the “Miscellaneous Technical” block and was approved as part of Unicode version 1.1 in 1993. In 2015, it was also approved as an Emoji in version 1.0 and added to the “Computer” subcategory of the “Objects” category.
