Symbol Meaning
An unusual flower that has six drop-shaped petals. The feature of the icon is that black petals rhyme with white ones which are transparent. In the centre there is a small white circle.
Unicode has more other colourful and black-and-white flowers. You can use them to compose a harmonic floral ornament. The six-petalled black and white florette U+273E is often combined with a simple eight-petalled black flower ⁕ and with a schematic drawing of a flower on the stem ⚘ .
The symbol “Six Petalled Black and White Florette” is included in the “Fleurons” subblock of the “Dingbats” block and was approved as part of Unicode version 1.1 in 1993.
