The symbol “Part Alternation Mark” is included in the “Other CJK punctuation” subblock of the “CJK Symbols and Punctuation” block and was approved as part of Unicode version 3.2 in 2002. In 2015, it was also approved as an Emoji in version 1.0 and added to the “Other Symbols” subcategory of the “Symbols” category.
