Unicode also offers a More-Than Sign, which is located in Basic Latin since version 1.0.0 in 1991 года.
The symbol “Less-Than Sign” is included in the “ASCII mathematical operators” subblock of the “Basic Latin” block and was approved as part of Unicode version 1.1 in 1993.
