Netherlands is known as the country of tulips, but they originally appeared in Northern Iran. The Tulip Emoji, like other flowers, will be useful for congratulating a woman on some holiday.

The symbol “Tulip” is included in the “Plant symbols” subblock of the “Miscellaneous Symbols and Pictographs” block and was approved as part of Unicode version 6.0 in 2010. In 2015, it was also approved as an Emoji in version 1.0 and added to the “Flower” subcategory of the “Animals & Nature” category.
