Description
Kaithi alphabet (เคเฅเคฅเฅ) is a tachygraphic of Devanagari 0915โ0945 . It become widespread in The Mughal Empire ัั XVI century. In the 1880s the script was recognised as the official script of the law courts of Bihar. The name of the alphabet comes from โKayasthaโ that means caste of penmen.
