विवरण

The Lycian alphabet was used to write the Lycian language of the Asia Minor region of Lycia in what are now the southern coast of Turkey, bordering the Mediterranean Sea. It was an extension of  The Phoenician alphabet  under the influence of  Greek  in VI century B.C. It was vocalic-consonantal so all vowels were noted. It consisted of 29 characters, and the prescription of two of them is still unknown.
