Description
Carian alphabet was used to write the Carian language now considered as a dead language spoken on the Anatolian coasts. It is considered to derive from Greek 0391–03C9 . It remained a total mystery and the meaning of some characters is still unknown. It was widespread approximately from the VII to the I century B.C.
