The Russian tradition 🚣
The holiday has been celebrated since 1939. Initially it was held on July 24. I have no idea, what historic vent it had to do with. It was probably about Peter the Great who just finished getting his famous vessel repaired and launched the creation of a regular Russian navy.
They holiday begins with parades, award ceremonies, solemn speeches, and other public events. Ordinary citizens get an access to the less secret vessels and can explore the mighty astonishing ships and boats. The holiday is closed with concerts and fireworks.
As Unicode is not in favour of militarism, there're almost no symbols or emoji correlating with the holiday. That's why here we gathered various boats, cruisers, and other vessels.
